Yes, one of only 5000 GA's before production stopped (before that in period '77-'80 15000 GS's were assembled)- BX was introduced. 1350 GA's were built in 1980., and only 210 in 1981. GA prodction in Cimos was stopped in 1985. or 1986. GA was very bad compared to GS, it was "rusting in a brochure". Also from 1983. BX was availiable. I'm not sure, but according to the location this GA from the series is probably this one (photo from December 2008):

Exactly the same?! Se we have to list it. ;) BTW. What is hidden behind this name? Why it wasn't GSA? :D

Yes, in that neighbourhood this is only GA that existed (with other 6-7 GS's), and only residents parked on the pavement. Only 1 GS Super 1.3 and this GA survived until today. It is still parked on same place, and is used as everyday car.
I guess it was called GA because it had only one equipment level (1.3 GS's engine and 4-speed manual gearbox, Special interior without the tachometer), and I think (but I'm not sure)that all GA's had brown interior. Citroen wanted to make a difference between yugoslavian and french version :D. "Cimos GA" was written on trunk lid, like can be seen here:

Several colors were availiable colors, green, orange, white, biege and only a few were painted in red. You couldn't choose which color you'll buy - when cars arrive to the car lot, you can choose between cars that are availiable at that moment. Unless, of course, you knew someone "who knows someone's uncle, whose neighbour know's someone who works in the factory".:D
GSA's can also be seen in ex-YU countries, but most of them were imported later, during mid-90's.

Interesting informations. As I understood from the old Avto Magazin it seems they planned, at the beginning, to made about 1000 every year. :)
From related subject - I found once interesting info about the production background of the "Cimos" DAK and Geri. Maybe we'll see them some day also on this site.

That info was put online by one of www.citroenforumsrbije.com members, Keza2CV. He repairs A-series Citroens, actually you could say that he makes them from nothing. Great guy! Anyway, DAK and Geri (or Gery, I'm not sure) are very rare, especially Geri. DAK was substituted by more practical Zastava 900AK and later Zastava 101 Poly (or Skala Poly), and pickups like Geri were never popular in YU.
About 1000 GA's/year - Cimos maybe planned to make that amount, but in early 80's recesion struck Yugoslavia, due to oil crisis and high external debts, and that probably changed their plans. Also, seriuos rust problems contributed to GA's poor sale. As I said, it was posibble to see rust on a car standing in a showroom! I found one funnyp picture that could describe what GA was like:

Red grafitti on the wal says "рођен лош", which means (literally translated) "born bad". Irony...:)

Nice find! Really seldom to see a car that is still in use by the same owner today...!
