Similar to Audi 100 C1. Similar only. |

Why not a 100 C1? Link to "www.classicandperformancecar.com" @Ingo: maybe you can help us... |

No Audi C1, the interior is absolute definetely for 100% from an Audi 80 [B1] or a VW Passat I [Typ32] - I must know it, because I grew up in such cars. My father had a 1973 Passat LS, followed by a 1976-Passat L and a 1977 Audi 80 GLS. Due the cloth-style "Fischgrät" - "fish bone", it's an early one, 1974-75. And it's rather a Passat than an Audi, because there is not the Audi-logo on the right side of the horn-plate. The Passat has the Wolfsburg-logo it in the middle |

Argh... these two were in my mind, but I couldn't find a decent pic to prove it... |

P.S. something really rare is visible on this pic, even if its from 1978: the dashboard is still in good condition and not popped up around the speaker-holes. Normally 90% of all Passat's/Audi 80's had this damage after max. 3-4 years. |

Class: Cars, Hatchback. |

@130rapid: from this angle it's not to identify, if Sedan or Hatchback. The first year the Passat was only built as a Sedan. Due the seat-cloth it's quite probable a 1974-version, so a Sedan. -- Last edit: 2010-02-10 22:14:28 |

That's why I gave 'sedan' as car class... |

Oh, I forgot. Early Passat looks hatchbackish but have short trunk lid. :X |
