Looks small enough to be a French-built MF130. If not it is a narrow track vineyard model MF135 - which will be British-built. |

Massey-Ferguson 133, 135 or 140 It doesn't look like narrow track and it is pretty likely French built, since most MFs for the French market were French built. As far as I know the 130 had different fenders (not sure though if the fenders shown here were also available), so it is either an MF 133, MF 135 or MF 140. (French built 140s were similar to British built 135s, while French built 135s had slightly less power. Later - and for exports - the French built 140 and 135 were renamed to 135 and 133.) |

Huehnerbaron - which power units did the French 133, 135 and 140 use? We bought a French-built 130 new in 1969 which had a Perkins 107 cubic inch 4 cylinder diesel but the British 135 that replaced it in 1976 has a Perkins 152 cubic inch 3 cylinder diesel. -- Last edit: 2010-01-22 08:22:30 |
