DynaMike ◊ 2007-03-01 16:39	Well, the background car is easier: Citroën 11CV Légère (Traction). The cabriolet looks like a Wanderer (size, overall shape, split window, chrome rim and mouldings on the sides), I'd say ca. 1938 W23, only couldn't find the plain wheels yet (Anyway, both cars are later than 1931)

A Gläser-bodied Audi indeed, only from a bit later: it is a 920 4-Fenster Cabriolet, introduced late in 1938. Except for its slightly longer wheelbase and the different front end design, very similar to a Wanderer W 23; here we can tell them apart only by some minor details, like the steering wheel or the bumpers. Note also the Audi logo stamped in the hubcap of the spare wheel, recognizable on the last thumbnail. A 920 Gläser Cabriolet on display at Techno Classica in 2007: Link to "www.gtdreams.com"
Ingo ◊ 2008-05-03 10:58	About the item "hubcaps of a pre-war Audi" I had a very outraging expericence - in the Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg. They had such a car over there, too. But when I saw the hubcaps I was immediately pissed and have left the museum: the hubcaps were some from the 1977 Audi 80 GLS, fixed with a screw (for wood) in the centre - the centre of hubcap and the centre of the hub!!!
