Bedford A-type, then. Only the Bedford had the big chrome badge over the grille; Opels had Opel lettering and/or an Opel lightning-flash. |

I agree, around 1954, I checked, the almost equivalent Opel Blitz did not have the big chrome enblem |

Location is Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam. That used to be the Dutch 'Fleetstreet' - almost all national newspapers had their headquarters in this street - bu also most of the transport companies were located here, hence the trucks. The tramway was quite old already: built by the Amsterdam Werkspoor in 1913... |
