Citroen Light 15, or maybe something else expensive and luxurious like a Benz, Porsche or Cadillac. -- Last edit: 2006-03-24 02:57:41 |

It is a UK built Citroen indeed, but not a "Light Fifteen" which had sparing wheel formed boot, and not rounded boot as this one. Therefore it is the last 1955 "Six Cylinder" Citroen made by Slough |

Isn't exact name "Six Cylinder" rather than Big Six? |

Both names were used, according to http://www.citroen.mb.ca/cItROeNeT/foreign/slough/traction-05.html |

According to the book 'The British Citroën' by Malcolm Bobbitt the names in Britain were as follows: French -> British (years built) 7A / 7B -> Super Modern Twelve (1934) 7 Sport -> Twelve Sport (1934) 7C -> Twelve (1934-41) 11 Légère -> Light Fifteen (1934-36, 1947-57) 11 -> Big Fifteen (1934-36) 11BL -> Light Fifteen (1937-41, 1945-46) 11B -> Big Fifteen (1937-41) 11 Normale -> Big Fifteen (1947-56) 15 Six -> Six (1947-55) 15 Six H -> Six H (1954-55) -- Last edit: 2008-01-10 12:31:20 |

Jean-Marc, why did you say it is from 1955? |
