That's not a Mondeo, it's a Volkswagen Phaeton! 2007+ Mondeos have another bodyline!

Poor VW! It's SO rare to spot one of these in the roads! :/

Except in Moscow. There you can see the most Phaeton's on the roads ever. ;)

Or at VW-dealers. They have hard problems to sell this oversized, overpriced car. Used ones are incredible cheap (compared with the new price) to get. I'm sure, that the times will come, when an used Phaeton will be cheaper than a same aged Golf. Any bets on that? :D

The VW-management would really like to ged rid of it, but it's a favourite toy of Mr.Piech. You cannot do anything in the house Volkswagen against the untouchable god...

This confusion is an illustration of why this big VW has been such a distaster in terms of sales :D
...a big Passat or Mondeo 10xtime more expensive!

Indeed, finally it's nothing else than a oversized Passat. This was a first reaction of a friend of mine, who worked at an taxi- and limousine-service-company, when they got the first Phaeton.

Annother friend, who works at a Volkswagen-dealer says, that the quality of the Phaeton is not bad - because the workers in Dresden have a plenty of time for assembling. :)
But the repairing of it sucks. The best example for the Piech-typical high-end-technology-psychosis. Overcomplicated all around, no logical and easy repairable technic. :/
