This is a Mercury Topaz. The only images that show a Taurus are thumbnails 2 and 3.

Body colored trim makes me think 1992-1994.

Topaz GS, with standard issue GS hub caps. Its also equipped with the standard High Swirl Combustion (HSC) version of the venerable 2.3L I4. These four cylinders received a revised sequential fuel injection system for 1992, but other then that, its the same basic engine used since 1988. The SFI system actually saw a decrease in power figures, but a slight improvement in fuel economy. Power figures for the HSC in 1992 were down from a 98HP to 96HP. Not much, but it propelled the lightweight 2,525lb. Mercury well enough for a solid decade.
