The emblem seen in the picture indicates not only a V8 but the larger 327 V8... The lesser 283 V8 would be denoted with a smaller emblem less the crossed flags.... @afcop3ggt: The full size Chevrolet series did not carry any badge for the 6-cylinder version. I believe that only Chevrolet Chevy II series did carry the 6-cylinder badge because these vehicles that has the base 4-cylinder engines fitted did not carry any badges. |
