Side moldings were optional on Trans Ams, and although the bird graphics were standard, they could be specified as "graphic delete," since many people thought the graphics were overpowering. Furthermore, the accumulation of age means that some of the cars have been repainted without the graphics having been reapplied...the combination of these two factors means it's not unusual at all to see one of these with no graphics.
