Commander 57 ◊ 2010-02-06 18:20	Lack of chrome (not "lights") on the fender tops cannot be used. While that chrome work was standard on Commanders, it was optional on Champions. This car has been so hideously mistreated and shorn of it's brightwork, further indentification is not possible. It is a Starlite coupe, however, owing to that distinctive rear window! (Yes, Champions did have shorter wheelbases than Commanders in 1950. In '51, they shared bodies across the board except for Land Cruisers)
Commander 57 ◊ 2011-03-31 18:16	Have belatedly taken the word "Custom" out of the description here since you can see where there was once a hood ornament. Champion Customs carried no hood ornament.
