vilero ◊ 2009-11-19 19:02	Right hand drive Z-102 spyder by the spanish designer Pedro Serra. It was the number 66 of the Pegasos Z-102 and it got the chassis number 3-0166 and engine number 9-0166. Was sold in 1956 and its real plate is CA-16.001 not the fake showed in the thumbnail.

vilero ◊ 2009-11-19 20:10	In Spain, but out of order. His first owner was an important and rich winegrower in Jerez named Domecq de la Riva. There is an "urban legend" that says that Domecq de la Riva bet with Pegaso's manager he could drive Madrid-Jerez with the average speed over 100 Km/h (we are in 1956 and I can't imagine how bad our roads were). Pegaso agreed with that and told him that Pegaso would give him for free a new Pegaso if he win the bet. On july 10 1956 he drove Madrid-Jerez (645 Km) with an average speed of 103,47km/h (in spanish, scroll down almost the finish page). Domecq won and Pegaso gave for free to him this beauty Berlineta Saoutchik . I suppose this is only an "urban legend" bad the real "race", certainly, it was. It is commented in this Pegaso's forum page about the Berlineta Saoutchik I said before and his first owner was, also, same Domecq de la Riva. BTW that Saoutchik seems to be now in Holland.
