Walter this may upset you, but recently my grandad got round to sending his 1985 Audi 100 to the scrapyard. He'd had it since the late 80s, but it hadn't been driven in 3 years (he now drives a Peugeot 406). Even though it clearly needed some work doing to it, he wouldn't get rid of it because he still thought it was a good car (well it might have been once but not so much now) and he could sell it to someone. But he didn't have the motivation to do something about getting someone to buy it. If only he'd get rid of all the other things in his house and garage that he has no use for anymore (including a filthy, rotting 40-year-old old caravan round the side of his house)..... |
