corvairmike ◊ 2009-12-19 02:47	It is definitely not a '60 because you can see where the left side of the engine compartment starts to drop down to make a battery tray. Another give away is the Engine lid has a indentation for the spare tire in the engine compartment. The '60 Corvair didn't have a spare tire mount in the engine compartment, only 61-64 did. The '60s had the battery mounted where the pare would go
gabbagabbawill ◊ 2009-12-28 22:45	My 60 has the spare tire moulding in the deck lid, even though the battery is on the right side, so I wouldn't use that as an indicator as to "not a 60".
