I'd say the train is a Baureihe 141, the road is the B 42, the river is the Rhine and the truck looks to me like a Magirus... |

@DynaMike: are you sure withe the location? I don't know the movie (a kind of road movie?) but due the whole other pics and thumbnails I have the impression, that it was rather filmed in the East of Western Germany (road sign with "Lüchow", the VW-factory in Wolfsburg, old houses in the style of Hessen, etc.) This would be the only place in the West. I was thinking about the B 27 in the area around Eschwege, an that the river was the Werra. And the part right of it the GDR-territory. But the mountains aren't so steep there, I think. I've been there last time 20 years ago - it was the way from Hannover to the GDR-border-point Herleshausen/Wartha. |

The island is near Bacharach/Rhein Der Film spielt vorwiegend oberhalb vom Harz bis nach Wolfsburg im flachen trostlosen Grenzgebiet zur damaligen DDR. Mit dem Motorrad gehts dann zu einem Ausflug auf eine Insel im Rhein. Auf dem ersten thumbnail sieht man diese Insel die bei Bacharach am Rhein liegt. -- Last edit: 2009-11-19 12:23:11 |
