Lack of chromed bar on front fenders I think is for 1949 but, could anybod identify if is it a 76, 88 or maybe 98? |

It is a 1949 Oldsmobile ,I suspect a 98 convertible coupe on the longer 125 inch wheelbase ( the other series had a 119.5 inch wheelbase ) but a full lateral view would help.It is unlikely to be a 76 , since that series was still powered by a six , not a milestone engine to keep in a GM collection contrary to the 135 hp Kettering V8 unit. |

Wasn't Futuramic part of the name? And according to http://www.cadvision.com/blanchas/ID-Cars/OldsmobileModels4.html the chassis code would be [3867X]. |
