looks like a mid to late 73/77 Mercury Montego in green, Dark color car Looks like a 71/73 Buick Estate Wagon, Not a lot of references with such limited visual input |

I believe it is a 1977 Mercury Cougar Villager. -- Last edit: 2006-03-16 19:28:45 |

the car behind it is a 72-76 (or 71 but i don't see the vents on the rear door) GM full sized "clamshell" wagon. not sure which make but it looks like possibly an oldsmobile custom cruiser. |

what makes it 1977, this could be a Mercury Montego wagon. because they were more common |

Mr Savage ...For 1977, the Montego name was dropped, with Mercury's restyled intermediates all taking the Cougar name.....There were 2 wagons a Cougar wagon and a Cougar Villager wagon.... |

He knows that. He's asking why this is listed as a 1977 Cougar, when it could be a 1974-76 Montego, a valid question. This color was not offered in 1977, so it is an earlier Montego model. -- Last edit: 2015-05-29 03:24:38 |
