Vaux57 ◊ 2006-04-23 20:38	It is a Vauxhall Victor F-type but the year can be either 1957 or 1958, it is not possible to see from the side view (front lights on early -57 had straight bezels later cars were slanted, exhaust pipe exits through right corner of bumper on Victor Super until mid -58, later it exits under the right corner, exhaust pipe on Victor Standard exits under the right corner during the production of series 1, Series 2 (1959-60) had exhaust pipe exiting under left side of bumper) There was also differences in the Interior between 1957 and 1958, later 1958 cars having less chrome on the instrument panel, changed interior colours, simplified materials and so on. The car in the picture has a non standard paint job but since it was 4-5 years old when the film was made it probably is the victim of some backyard customiser (two-tone paintjobs on series 1 was normally black or white roof and rest of car other colour)
