The registration number is a red herring in this case. The "W" suffix denotes a 1980/81 car, which would be a series 2 V8 Vantage introduced in late 1978. From the shape of the bonnet bulge, the car is a series 1 (1977-78) car. I believe that the car is the one known as "sexy" from its registration 7 EXY, and was the development car of RS Williams for their 6.3 litre and 7 litre upgrades. -- Last edit: 2010-11-04 15:34:57 |
