Huh, the google-try (France + Marine)has this Link to "sosheimat.files.wordpress.com" result, but I'll try it again. Something French (see the flag) from the 60ies (date of the movie) is quite sure.

Both of them were in reserve in 1965. Not to metion that after WWII there was no large artillery ships in French Navy (and many others).
