 There is something totally abnormal with this car .If one looks carefully the side panels ,rear fenders,fins and side trim are 1957 Ford , not 1958 Edsel at all.It may well be and I suspect that somebody has grafted a 1958 Edsel front clip onto a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner body or less probably that a 1958 Edsel would have been restored with Ford panels and trim .

 Yes pilou, I agree that an Edsel front has been grafted onto a Ford Sunliner.
