Without a better picture, the 1947 default model year is the only one that can be given to it. 1947-48 Chevrolet heavy-duty models were called Loadmaster, and the 4-digit 5xxx code was only used for the Chevrolet internal "chassis code" (5103 to 5703): as chassis + cab, this truck has a 5x03 internal code. And COE never was a model name, so it can't be given as more than a complement. But in my mind, trying to see here the 134"/3.40 m wheelbase of the 5403 over the 158"/4.01 m one of the 5703 is just a guess... ⇒ 1947 Chevrolet Advance-Design Loadmaster COE (the latter as complement)? -- Last edit: 2015-02-08 03:25:45 |
