This is a 1904 Oldsmobile " Straight Dash " runabout .It joined the " Curved Dash" model in 1904 but was less succesfull being an ientermediate model before the wheel-steered versions of the make were launched in 1905.It is repertoriated in Raymond Lee's book " Fit for the Chase.Cars and the Movies Castle Books New York 1969 LCCCN 68-27198 on page 72 ( actors Marion Davies and Lawrence Gray) |

The Straight Dash was only available in 1906, the final model year for the Curved Dash Olds. |
