By the logo, I'd say a MkII 1966+ |

Mk I or Mk II as they have got the same front end. |

Using Mk1 or Mk2 titles on imcdb Imps is pretty much a waste of time - the changes were so trivial (bigger clutch, better underseal, ashtrays in rear - and they're only the exciting modifications). Mk2s did get a small shield badge on the front wing which will sometimes be recognisable, but that was all the external evidence for this Oct 65 update (which also saw the Super Imp launch), when the only models available were Imp basic and Deluxe and ordinary Chamois - all vans, Huskys, coupes and Sports versions came later as the Golden Age of the Imp gathered momentum. The more significant Oct 68 facelift across the Imp range which is usually very identifiable for all models had no official Mk number, and the Mk2 title was completely dropped at that point if it was still mentioned. I think this is a 63-65 car for the Loch Blue colour, and definitely before the mid-66 change to Sunbeam export branding. -- Last edit: 2012-08-04 04:11:56 |
