That is not accurate. The HD version came out in 1991. There were C/K 3500s with this style prior to 1992: Link to "www.gmheritagecenter.com" - Chevy Brochure Link to "www.ebay.com" - GMC brochure Both of which show 3500 DRW models. I am not sure what you mean't the 3500 did not come out in this generation yet? I know there was some overlap with the previous generation but that does not mean these were not produced? |

The 3500 [GMT480] came out for the 1990 model year. 1988-89 were the old-school R/V model. As @dhill_cb7 said, the C-3500 HD [GMT455] came out for 1991. Derp, the brochure proves me wrong.
