This looks like the "Engine 54" seen in several movies. It is probably from a Los Angeles area "picture car/vehicle" rental company, but I'm not sure which one. In "Nancy Drew," identified as a KME Panther E-One Cyclone: /vehicle.php?id=132881 In "Sweet 16: The Movie," idetified as a KME Panther E-One Cyclone: /vehicle_138415-KME-Panther.html In "The Office," identified as a KME Panther E-One Cyclone: /vehicle_157277-KME-Panther.html In "Street Kings," identified as a KME Renegade E-One Cyclone: /vehicle.php?id=178846 In "Jericho," identified as a KME Renegade E-One Cyclone II: /vehicle_62087-KME-Renegade.html In "King of California," identified as a KME Renegade E-One Cyclone: /vehicle_163446-KME-Renegade.html In "Prison Break," indentified as a 1992 KME Renegade E-One Cyclone: /vehicle_197529-KME-Renegade-1992.html The "Prison Break" image shows the truck with the updated LED lightbar. -- Last edit: 2009-07-12 03:14:17 |

It appears to be from Picture Vehicles Unlimited http://www.picturevehicles.com/ (click on "Firetrucks"). I recognize some of the other trucks as well from movies and pictures here on IMCDb. Many of them have "54" in the truck number. The Picture Vehicles site doesn't do a good job of identifying the vehicles. -- Last edit: 2009-07-12 04:29:22 |

These rigs with the number '54' or a variation there of such as 254, 654 and others are owned by Joe Ortiz Fire Equipment Rental (no web site - word of mouth company)in Los Angeles. He owns several fire and ambulance vehicles of various manufacturer and has been utilized in many film and TV productions. The Picture Vehicles site is a simply an advertising company for the industry showcasing various vehicles. -- Last edit: 2014-01-09 19:04:52 |
