JBD965 was new to United Counties fleet number 928 (and therefore green when new!), but seen here in 1977 in Hants and Dorset National Bus Company-era colours. Route 47 to Southampton is genuine, but I don't believe the bus ever ran for Hants and Dorset, and certainly not in 1977 in this livery. Gag Halfrunt ◊ 2009-06-24 13:29	Equus was filmed in Toronto for tax reasons, so the bus was either shipped there for the film or already in Canada.
SteveA ◊ 2009-06-24 20:09	...found a reference to it - JBD965, 967 and 982 were used for sightseeing tours by Toronto Transit Commission between 1974 and 1977. A 2001 note by Roger Hardy on the British Buses Abroad in North America Yahoo group notes all three were sold to a dealer in Chattanooga, Tennessee after the 1977 season. So this bus was already in Toronto when 'Equus' was filmed.
