You know what city it is? By the language I guess in Russia, not in Ukraine? The Żuk I think can be 1975+ B, it doesn't look old. |

It's hard to say. As usual in russian films - if in plot is dictatorship, bad regime or plenty of bad people, movie is filmed in not russian looking cities of Lithuania, Latvia or Ukraina, and cars are often from Poland (Żuk, Nysa, Star), from West (Ford or Opel) or from little factories (like LuAZ). Quite funny. ![]() In this movie - all products in shops are not-russian, but most of them in fact is just empty package (like beer cans). I suppose, that this movie was filmed in Lvov. And Żuk is quite old (ceiling in interior is wasted). |

This I didn't notice , but I admit I've never seen any Russian/Soviet film of such genre.About the city - yes I also thought about Lviv, when I saw these pics, only the language misled me, but as these are still USSR times, the film language is in fact not so important (doesn't say much about the location). Edit: So maybe can be a 1973 M, but early M for sure didn't have this small rear bumpers, if ever had, as they were produced for only about two years. This detail is IMO more typical for B and the there was only A06 B. -- Last edit: 2012-01-23 00:05:56 |
