NICKALVIS ◊ 2018-11-21 19:03	This is an SA Type Alvis Speed Twenty chassis No 10158. The original UK registration plate was replaced by a false plate LW4329 or similar for the film. This is a Vanden Plas two seater sports and is being driven by Lester Matthews, one of the stars of the film - he was the owner of the car at that time. He was a keen sporting motorist and had ordered the car new, taking it with him to L.A. when he got a film contract with Universal. He later took the car back to the U.K. just before WWII. The car still exists in the U.K.
