By the big, rounded back window something from the late 50ies, early 60ies. |

I think it is a 1958 Chevrolet Del Ray 4 door sedan. Like This http://www.58classicchevy.com/images/1958-chevrolet-delray-3.jpg -- Last edit: 2009-05-24 03:32:43 |

back door window doesnt look right for a 58 Chevrolet, plus the dip on the top of the backdoor is not in the top pic. It reminds me of a stripped down version of a 1955/56 Nash Ambassador -- Last edit: 2009-05-24 04:17:32 |

1957 or 58 Studebaker Commander |

Trim could also make it a President. |

I agree, but, would a police dept. use a President as a Police car? |

Logically a Commander or a Scotsman is more likely but it depends what the movie company found to convert into a 4 door police sedan. I am just thinking the the side chrome trim in a lightned picture looks more like this 1958 President - http://hem.bredband.net/b284654/IMAGES/1958President_4dr_sedan.jpg -- Last edit: 2009-05-25 18:58:07 |

Upon closer inspection, this is definitely a 1957 President, per just visible side trim, the rear door vent window (making it a President Classic) and presence of a hood ornament. -- Last edit: 2011-08-06 04:38:38 |
