Unfortunately not exactly visible, but in Chile the NSU Prinz had the overriders like the US-version.

Maybe it has survived and it's maybe the most Southern located NSU of the world - which mounted on a high pile as an eye-catcher in front of a private oldtimer-museum in Punta Arenas:
