The car on the left in the main pic is a Lincoln, possibly a Continental, perhaps Mark III. |

Actually, the car is the same 1978 thunderbird seen in other parts of the movie. It was owned by mike r. from south fayette, pa when the movie was shot. There weren't very many period correct cars available so this car is seen is several scenes. |

I don't know what you are seeing that says it looks nothing like a 78 t-bird. Look at the headlight covers, corner marker light, bumper shape, etc... |

I guess being there doesn't matter, here. What a shame. MY sister in law was in the car for some of these shots, napping in the passenger seat. Oh well. Think what you want. Provenance means nothing? wow. |
