this is a Ford LTD-S, not just a LTD, those had a whole different front. |

There is no such thing as a 1979 LTD-S. In 1979 the LTD models used single headlights and the Landau models used four. This is a 1979 model per the clear/white turn signals and hood ornament; it's just an LTD. |

Somename is correct. The "S" nomenclature was first used for m.y. 1980. |
