I think so. btw.: on our flight to China in 2001 I'd shown a photo of my '87 Passat Variant GT (so the absolute identical car like that above) to the guy on the seat besides me. He worked for Volkswagen of China - and ha hasen't recognized it. Perhaps because in Chine they never had it for civil use. I was wondering a bit anyways... Sure, that he hasn't known the K 70, but the car, they have produced by theirselves??
