1958 Plymouth Custom Suburban? |

Look closely and you'll notice it has a DeSoto Firesweep front clip so maybe a Firesweep or even a Diplomat. |

Agreed, also the side trim is from a De Soto too, so I go with a De Soto Diplomat |

What about the side trim similar to /vehicle_173614-Plymouth-Savoy-1958.html ? Could this be the Canadian "Plodge" series? |

If it were a Canadian model it would have a Dodge front end rather than a DeSoto version. -- Last edit: 2009-05-03 05:14:09 |

Now I understand that is DeSoto Diplomat for the export market as described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeSoto_Diplomat . |

Yes: DeSoto Diplomat, as the front and side trim are those of the DeSoto Firesweep and the rest(rear end and interior) are those of the Plymouth. |
