Sunbar ◊ 2009-04-17 13:01	Not a Leyland RTW rear advert spacing is too close to destination board. Not sure about the radiator - you could be right. Registration possibly looks like MLL619? If so an AEC RT 2872 unless the registration can be confirmed (better picture?).
G-MANN ◊ 2009-04-17 14:52	It's from the DVD so that's about a good a picture as you're going to get, it's blurred because the bus is passing by the camera at a certain angle. The plate could be NLL619.

Sunbar ◊ 2009-04-18 11:05	Around the time of the film the 140 route was using the RT from Harrow Weald, Edgeware and Hendon garages. Before 1952 RTL and RTW were also used. From 1952-1972 the 140 route was RT only. Between 1972-1978 Routemasters were phased in replacing the RT.
