I'm not entirely convinced this is a Ford anymore. I couldn't find any F-Series pickups from the 50's listed here which had those wraparound side windows on the back of the cab. I wanna say it's a Chevrolet of some sort. Specifically, a 40's 3100. -- Last edit: 2009-04-05 13:17:22 |

1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design pickup or same MYs GMC New Design one. As said in the forum, we can use the Chevy model as standard. This pickup has 1947-53 angled bed rails, but there is no other clue to say more. And the picture is not clear enough to identify without hesitation a ½-ton 3100 model (114"/2.90 m wheelbase) over a ¾-ton 3600 one (123.25/3.13 m wheelbase). ⇒ 1947 Chevrolet Advance-Design -- Last edit: 2015-02-24 03:29:26 |

This is a 3100, the 3600 has the support pillar close to the wheel arch. And 52/53 - new door handles and split windshield. |
