This is not a 300 SEL 4.5 [W109] but rather a 1971-72 280 SE 4.5 [W108].
Hooray for HD-format re-releases - watching this in HD, the trunk badge is easily decipherable, and it says "280 SE", not "300 SEL", which would make this a W108.
