Commander 57 ◊ 2010-02-19 20:19	Correct. This photo also proves that post '47 Champions DID have the front fender side ornaments available! Note incorrect stainless steel gravel guard on rear door. Champion sedans did not have this feature in '48, only the convertibles. However, dealers occasionally added "dress-up" features for customers at their requests. But it did not leave the factory with those guards. If that's bright W/S trim I see, then this is a Regal Deluxe Champion.

Note incorrect stainless steel gravel guard on rear door. Champion sedans did not have this feature in '48, only the convertibles.
