Yes

Oh, it seems to be filmed in Middle East, so it can be the Turkish Tofas-version, too. he badge on the grille does not look Fiat-like

Was the 131 assembled there?

This one is indeed a bit strange. It has a newer type of grill and full plastic bumpers. As far as I know Fiat didn't have after the 1981 round headlights and Seat did. Tofas didn't have round badge.

It's a taxi, but it doesn't look like, that it's repaired a dozen time after several crashes. Then everything is possible in Northern Africa.

Once I've seen in Tunis a 1977/78 Audi 80, where someone had cobbled a VW Jetta II-front in, after a crash. :D So what, you could drive with it...

Ok, my bad - of course there were also 4-door 1981 Fiats with round lights: /vehicle_193159-Fiat-131-Supermirafiori-1981.html
But still the entire car seems to be from 1978 (if Supermirafiori bumper is original), because of the side bars, door handles and C-pillar - in this case the grill with round logo doesn't fit. So maybe it was like you said (Ingo) and it isn't in the original condition.

Unfortunately for us, here the changes are more subtle. :D

Edit.
BTW. I forgot about this advert:

Seats were of course later exported, but in the French speaking Africa officialy avaiable were Fiats and perhaps were the most common (the listed Fura is a newer car from times when cooperation was already dead).

After 1978 Diesel versions and USA versions mantained quad round headlights, not mentioning the Racing version.

This Fiat 131 is probably a moroccan-built car, the Fiat 131 was assembled in Morocco by Somaca
