I srongly suspect a 1941 Mercury here ,may be the same as the one already identified on this movie because of the roof-mounted radio antenna .Mercury was about the only make to adopt this configuration at the time whereas on other makes antennas were mounted on the cowl, fenders and on some cars that still had running boards sometimes under the running board..The oval rearview mirror also matches Mercury as is the small steering wheel spoke , at least of what can be seen here |
