 many thanks!  The K 70 on the main pic is a 1971-model. It has the early bumpers and the vents in the C-pillar. The car on the thumbnail is a 1972+ (with the rare sunroof). |

how did you know there is a K70 in this film? unless you've had already seen it, I think you have a specific sense of smell about K70 |

A question of intuition. A movie from 1974, filmed partly in Western Germany, so I thought, the chance could be good. Yes, I have this sense. It's a manner of me, to clic on immediately the "K 70-scan" in my brain, when I see movies, pictures, photos, articles, postcards, etc. from the 70ies. When I see a picture from the 70ies with a plenty of cars on it, a parking-place, a junk-yard, even pressed cars in front of a shredder, I can say quite exactly, in which year it was made. In 1987 my sister had visited the Carlsberg-brewery in Kopenhagen. When she brought the visitor's-brochure back home, I took it away for me. The pic was older, so I could see, that in the 70ies a minimum of 4 brewery-workers had owned a K 70. Just some small edges of the roofs or windows were enough for indentifying. By the way: I thought about, to be a bit angry about you, sixcyl! I was sure, that you have noticed, that I was posting comments during you have mounted the pics (and you know, what I'm always looking for) - and that you willfully have put the K 70 as the last car of all into the forum, just to annoy me a bit.  -- Last edit: 2009-02-13 13:22:25 |
