This looks like a K series - the KB had extra grille at the bottom (under where those headlights are) and the headlights were built into the fenders/wings. Also the KB has another chrome trim on the top of the hood 'nose' and I don't think any KB's had those horizontal chrome strips on the side of the hood. I think the K models only went up to around number 8. There were many many different combinations of back bed and wheelbase length, so it's difficult to be sure which, but it looks like it has double rear wheels so it's probably a K6, K7 or K8. |

The "extra grille" was present only on light- and medium-duty models (½-ton KB-1 to 1½-ton KB-5). This truck has the hood end / grille top ornament of a KB-Series and the non-integrated headlamps of a heavy-duty model (1½-2 ton KB6 to 5-7½ ton KB-12):: (1941-47 K-Series // 1947-49 KB-Series) |
