Certainly not an American model. |

Filmed in Indonesia according to IMDb. Is this possibly a rebadged Holden? |

This is a version of the Holden Statesman - an upmarket sedan built on the long wheelbase also used for the wagons. It was badged as a Chevrolet 350 and used a different grille to that on the Statesman. The Statesman used a Holden 308 V8 but the Chevrolet version had a 350 Chevrolet small block in it. There were a small number sold in NZ - from about 1971 on. This looks to have the later series taillights so is possibly 1975 or later. There is always a possibility that this is an Asian market car and fitted with the Holden engine. Needs an expert on export Holdens to confirm. |

I agree, but for my North American point of view it look like a mid 70 b body |

Check the bottom picture here http://richardlewis.is-a-geek.com/pictures/thumbs/pages/holden/15-HJ_JPG.htm This is the home market version, so the date with the taillights like that is 1974 on. The earlier models used the same taillights as the HQ wagon. The upspec versions of the Statesman were badged DeVille and Caprice depending on the year. I am still not sure just what the actual designation of this car is because it would appear to be an export car. I think the Chevrolet 350 model was just the earlier one - 1971-3. Confused? - so am I. |

Although similar, this is not the movie car. Wheels, bumpers, steering wheel & dash are different. I do not think that this is a Chevrolet 350, but a 74 or 75 HJ Statesman De Ville which would have had a Holden 308 not a chev 350. Having said that I have no idea what this was called in the Philippines. |
