Are you positive it is not this car?

It is not this precise car, for sure, but it could be the same model, possible ;)

By the look of it I would guess full size GM from the mid 80's - so a large Cadillac, Oldsmobile or Buick sedan.

It's definitely a Cadillac, but which one is impossible to tell. Is there really any value in keeping this picture?

It looks like a 70's Cadillac Seville with the optional coach lamps.

I would say yes: the car is visible for "long" time in few close shots, and the driver is visible few times too (I hesitated between 1 and 2 stars), like for the black Chrysler convertible.
Later the car is visible again in background, I can try to make a better picture.

Definitely a first-generation Cadillac "Seville" sedan, probably 1978-1979. I've seen the optional opera lamps on a '78 model, in a factory product catalog, but I've never actually seen these listed as an "option". The "Seville" was always described [as was also the 1957-60 "Eldorado Brougham"] as a "complete car" (i.e. no extra-cost options).
