That is actually Asia Towner (microtruck/microvan built by defunct Asia motors) and not Daewoo Damas(microvan built by Daewoo, the truck version from Daewoo was called Labo as it's mentioned in the Wiki article). I believe this is the first time a photo of Towner truck is updated to this site. |

Oh.. I am sorry about not getting your question... About that question, I don't know...  To be honest, I don't think it matters.. The company is no longer exist, after all. But I called the model Asia Towner because it was what the model was called as. BTW, how was the movie?? I know it was well received and did well in box-office in Korea. And I haven't seen it yet although I am gonna watch it soon. About the movie, it's prob. the biggest financial success Ki-Duk Kim has had in Korean box-office. Although Kim must be the most famous Korean directer in the business, his movies unfortuantly don't do well. Well, I think the movie was success because general movie goers in Korea didn't know that it was written and bank-rolled by Kim and the director was his understudy. The most people who watched were young women because the two hansome male leads. However, those women are the groups that hate Ki-Duk Kim most in Korea. |
