And the chrome trims are thicker, as the old Beetles had. And because VW has also a plant in South Africa, there was't a big export from Brazil (or perhaps no export at all - usually VW don't export many cars into one country, where VW's were assembed. Yes, I'd say it's rather a 1956/57 ZA made VW 1200 (repainted unoriginal) than a Brazilian one from the 70ies or 80ies. -- Last edit: 2008-12-03 18:20:39
