Odd, I've never seen this type of lightbar before.

Lightbar only has blue lights. Depending on the U.S. jurisidiction, more colors might be needed to seperate security guard vehicles from city/state/etc. police vehicles that can pull drivers over for any cause. Make sense?

It's just an old lightbar with the siren speaker in the middle. It looks pretty standard for the 1980s.

The lightbar does only have blue lights. The name of the movie would seem to indicate that it takes place in Florida, a state where having only blue lights is accepable on police vehicles. The Florida Highway Patrol, for example, use only blue lights on roof-mounted lightbars. In most states, red and blue lights are permitted only on emergency vehicles. Having both colors is usually not required, and having one or both is acceptable. Usually security vehicles and tow trucks may only use yellow and/or amber lights.

I wasn't really referring to the color of the lightbar, I meant the brand of the lightbar itself...

** spoiler **

So you'll notice when this car burns later, that the front of the car is obscured from view and they removed the overheads and replaced them with some kind of canvas. Probably didn't want to burn the real overheads so they could save money.

I love these low budget Italian productions because it forces the production to be creative.
