 I still dont understand how it made it to black pool from Switzerland, the way he thrashed it compared to the Audi A8 V* Twin turbo test, where he DID drive economically the whole way compared to this one. And in that test he did get coughs from the engine. Such an amazing engine in that jag to make it.

 ALSO, this is the current XJ with the face lift, so it would be an 07 or 08, most likely 08 since its top gear which would have the latest cars.

That's because the XJ is very light compared to the A8. The XJ6 2.7D similar to the one Jeremy drove, weighs 1,659 kilograms and that is remarkably light for a big luxury saloon car.
