Definitely not a Hyundai Pony although I must admit that it really resembles the first generation Pony. However, first give-away is the look of the C-pillar. The original Pony's C-pillar design is not as straight as the one in the picture. And the back is totally different. Also, I am not sure the car was ever sold in Hong Kong. Second generation Pony(known in Korea as Pony 2) was sold in wide variety of countries including Canada(Rumble in the Bronx). But the original one(the first ever Korean Car to be sold outside of Korea) was only sold in countries with very low GDP numbers. So I doubt that the car ever reached the shore of Hong Kong as it was a colony of the UK and pretty prosperous when compared to most of Asian nations at the time. -- Last edit: 2006-01-30 23:55:36 |

It's rare Datsun Violet 140J or 160J 5door-HB (1980-81 only one year) Now searching pictures from web. If can't find, I'll scan and post to imageshack. |
